How DHL Reduced Downtime and Administration Costs across Active Directory
Maximizing an investment in Active Directory and Group Policy has proved challenging, especially when trying to use native
tools across increasingly complex environments. More often than not, organizations become bogged down with the administrative
overhead, have to delegate full administrative rights-and end up with poor security and ineffective management. Join DHL and
Attachmate in this informative customer-led Webinar, "How DHL Reduced Downtime and Administration Costs Across Active
Directory," and see how DHL is using NetIQ's Security Administration Suite to control changes across both Active Directory
and Group Policy. You will learn how to: Improve automation and delegation of tasks to less-expensive resources, while still
maintaining control. Reduce risks from uncontrolled and unmanaged changes. Show significant ROI from reduced downtime, and
lower administration costs. You will also get a chance to ask our technical experts your toughest questions.

Automated Change Control and Entitlement Delegation for Windows Server
In most organizations, Windows server administration entitlements take the route of more is better. Likewise, IT Managers
are often forced to grant employees broad, powerful, and permanent privileges to production servers in order to accomplish
narrow tasks that need to be done only infrequently. With compliance and operational efficiencies at the forefront of most
IT initiatives, that way of doing business is no longer an option. Unfortunately, managing entitlements and change activity
on Windows servers is not practical through a manual approach and is unmanageable with native tools. Moreover, to meet
auditors' demands for greater change control, IT organizations have been forced to create homegrown "firecall"
systems or manage permissions manually.
Join NetIQ for Automated Change Control and Entitlement Delegation for Windows Server and hear how to:
- Implement effective change control on servers.
- Leverage entitlement and activity reports to assure policy and regulatory compliance Increase operational integrity
and security of your servers through the use of just-in-time permissions and granular access control.
- Assure changes are implemented and validated.
During this interactive session, you'll have the chance to see our new market-making product, NetIQ Change Administrator.

Rutter completes Global VPN deployment
Rutter has successfully completed the implementation of a global multi-site VPN solution for an enterprise financial institution
located in Boston. This project consisted of the Architecture and Design of the necessary addressing and routing as well as the
infrastructure deployment required to facilitate site to site connectivity between offices in Boston, the west coast and Europe.
Traffic patterns were investigated while applications and the necessary protocols were both identified and classified to ensure
that only essential traffic would traverse the VPN. Configurations were distilled to a common template for all sites thus providing
a consistent platform from which adjustments were made for specific site requirements. This project met the stated objectives and
end user goals upon its completion; allow the organization to leverage their existing Internet connection for site to site connectivity
thereby saving the expense of intra coastal international WAN charges.

Rutter completed the migration of 1700+ users
Rutter Networking Technologies, Inc. undertook the challenge of migrating over 1700 users from a combined legacy Banyan Vines and Windows
NT 4/Exchange 5.5 environment to an integrated Windows 2000/Exchange 2000 environment. This migration included the deployment of over 25
new servers and approximately 50 new workstations. Adding to the technical challenges of this project were the logistical issues of handling
user migrations at over 50 sites which spanned 11 counties across the state of Massachusetts. Rutter engineers worked with IT personnel in
each county to plan the migrations then executed the migrations typically starting mid-week. Engineers followed up with on site support and
knowledge transfer for the migrated site the first 3 days of the following week. Due to superior experience and planning, Rutter's engineers
limited their weekend project time to ONE partial Saturday. In addition, Rutter's engineers managed to complete the entire migration from
design through the final on site support day in less than 3 months.
